Firstly welcome to Website Design Planet. I designed this website in order to save people the hundreds of hours and many website failures that it took me to setup running, revenue earning websites.

In order to create a money making website there are some guidelines to follow. The most important of which is the amount of time you put into your website. If you have the time, then your website will most likely develop into something of great value, if not then you will struggle to achieve anything significant.

I had to learn this lesson the hard way. I have had websites fail, simply due to neglecting to update the content on the pages. This was mainly due to the subject of the websites being something which didn’t interest me in such a way, that I had the motivation needed to sit down on my computer and write articles.

It is for this reason that it is VERY important to choose a website idea that is of GREAT interest to you. Do not rush into a website idea, but rather go for a walk, brainstorm ideas and come up with a website idea which is more like a hobbie than job. If you find yourself having fun while designing your website then yes, you will be successful.

Making money with Google Adsense

In this website I will be referring to the Google Adsense program, mainly due to the fact that Adsense along with Yahoo are the only networks I use when advertising on my websites. I try to avoid using image adds and stick to text links as they are much easier to manipulate into looking a part of your website content. Adds placed in this way will generate the most money from your website, while adding to the content of your website.

Step 1 - The first step as mentioned is to BRAINSTORM WEBSITE IDEAS.
Step 2 - Then you need to PICK A DOMAIN NAME which is recommended. For less than $10 the benefits of having a domain name far outweigh this initial cost.
Step 3 - Then you need to either LEARN TO HAND CODE your website or LEARN TO USE WEBDESIGN SOFTWARE to design and upload your site.

Step 5 -Finally you need to Market and SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZE your completed website to increase the number of visitors..
